10-12 Year Division Clothing

​INTERVIEW

Interview in 10-12 should be a blazer and dress, or blazer and skirt style.  They should wear hose and character shoes(Nude) Hair should be pulled off of face with a barrette and makeup should be light and not overdone.

SPORTSWEAR

This should be a Blazer/Pant Suit or a Dressy Pant and Tailored style top.  Please refer to photos as examples to help you when searching for Sporstwear.  The Our Little Miss resale shop as well as other pageant resale Facebook pages always have these for sale at great prices.   If you are wanting something custom made please contact us and we can refer you to a seamstress.   No Shiny, Glittery, Rhinestone objects (this includes shoes jewelry, buttons, barrettes).

PARTY DRESS

10-12 year olds may wear either, a long ballgown style or a short pageant dress.  You still must follow all the guidelines as far as straps width (minimum 1") and the back of the dress may not fall below the contestant's shoulder blades.  When choosing a ballgown style you should take into consideration that your daughter is on 10-12.  The dress should look age appropriate.  On smaller 10-12 year olds, we would recommend you stay with a short pageant dress.  Sometimes they are hard to find in this size but the resale shops do sale them.  We have also seen some of girls get a long dress and hem it to be a short style.   If you are looking at something and are not sure please contact us or reach out to your prelim organizer and we will provide feedback.
